This piece was originally intended to be the cake topper for my wedding. Unfortunately the idea came far too late to even start, so there really wasn't enough time to finish it. Needless to say I spent the last couple of nights before leaving for the wedding trying to finish it before being convinced to let it go so I could actually enjoy a good nights sleep before going out of town.

It was the best decision overall. Now they patiently wait to be finished as other projects take their place on the hierarchy of things to do. The urgency that got them this far has passed.
